Flood Protection Spell

Sedwin

To protect your home from flooding, sprinkle salt or salt water in every room of your house, repeating this incantation:

"Water of river, water of sea.
Brigid, Holle, Astarte, keep harm from me."

Wisualize white light moving clockwise around the outside of your house, enveloping it with protective energy.

Garlic Protection Spell

For a good dose of protection, get a whole bulb of garlic. Cast a circle if you wish. Hold the bulb of garlic in your hands and say:

"As this garlic is whole, and yet made up of many parts,
let my house, made of many parts, be whole."

Divide the bulb into cloves and put one over each door and window of your house. No evil will pass the garlic to enter your house.

Protect A Vehicle

To protect yourself when using a vehicle to travel from place to place, every time you get into a car, bus, train, or airplane, imagine that the vehicle is surrounded by a bubble of blue protective light.

Computer Magick and Protective spells

This is a silly spell but it will actually work with the intent in mind. Trust me, I've used it successfully more than once... and it's fun, too!

Cut out seven stars from colored paper... one of each color for the days of the week:

Monday: White
Tuesday: Red
Wednesday: Green
Thursday: Purple
Friday: Pink
Saturday: Black
Sunday: Orange

Chant over your stars:

"Magic stars so bright and true
Protect my monitor and CPU
May my keyboard and mouse always work for me
By the Techno-Goddess... so mote it be!"

Place all the stars in a bag or box with a little sage, thyme, or rosemary. Each day for a week place the star on top of your monitor or computer that is the right color for that day. (See above.) If after a week your computer still has problems, you can continue the spell for another week or two. In desperate situations, pick up the phone book and call in your local computer wizard!

Dragon Protection Oil

3 Drops essential oil of Amber
1 Drop essential oil of Jasmine
7 Drops dark musk Oil (plain musk may be substituted)
5 Drops essential oil of Rue
1/8 Cup of almond oil

Mix oils as described below then add 1 pinch of sea salt and 1-2 small pieces of Dragon's Blood resin; and a small piece of amber.

Wear as a personal oil to enhance your powers and to call on the Dragon's power, protection, and wisdom.

Use a clean, dark glass bottle, add essential oils first, swirling to blend; then the carrier oils. Cover the bottle and roll between your palms to blend. Then uncap the bottles and add the herbs and crystals. Label the bottle with the Name of the Oil; the date; Moon phase; and Sign, with water-proof acid-free ink. The bottles may be decorated with ribbon, sigils, etc., to represent the Sabbat, or use the oil is intended for.

Be sure to clean, clear and charge all crystals and herbs before adding them to the finished oil. You can use one of the following methods to do this: Saltwater bath, and then place in the moonlight or sunlight for the crystals. For the herbs, charge them in the moonlight or the sunlight, and be sure to harvest them in the correct moon phase.

Here is a tip for the crystals, If you wish to try this method, it works quite well, and gives you more use of your crystals: With a metal nail file, file the crystals into a powder and add the powder to your oils, instead of the whole crystal. Or, buy the inexpensive crystal chip pieces of jewellery such as a necklace or bracelet. The chips are usually small enough to fit in the oil bottles.

Protection Chant

If you are feeling uneasy, nervous or threatened, try repeating this chant quietly to yourself.

"Divine Goddess, Goddess Divine,
Divine God, God Divine,
If evil dwells within this place,
Please make it leave my space."

Ring of Protection

Place the ring in the West of the room you wish to cast the spell in. Place around it shells and symbols of water. Take the silver ring and in a shell filled with water mix some salt in. Say over this :

"Creature of water, I beseech of thee.
Protection from harm is what I wish for me.
In to you this ring I place,
bind the protection well and to evil give chase."

Leave the ring in overnight in the light of the full moon and in the morning wash the salt water off, clear everything away and wear it! To remove the spell, place it in earth in the north and say:

"With thanks for protection given
I now wish this spell riven!"

And leave it there overnight in a window during a new moon.

House Protection Spell Bottle

From the book: Spell Crafts by Scott Cunningham & David Harrington

Ideally, such a bottle should be walled up in a new home under construction, or placed under the floorboards. If this is impossible, simply place it in a position of importance somewhere in the home.

Items Needed:

1 bottle with cork stopper
1/2 to 1 cup salt
3 cloves garlic
9 bay leaves
7 tbsp. dried basil
4 tbsp. dill seeds
1 tbsp. sage
1 tbsp. anise
1 tbsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. fennel
1 bowl

In the morning, ideally on a bright and sunny day, assemble all items. Place the salt into the bowl and say:

"Salt that protects, protect my home and all within it."

Add the rest of the ingredients, one by one, saying the above phrase. Just change the first word to whatever herb you are putting in next.

Mix together the herbs and the salt with your hands and fingers, lend energy to the potent protective items. Visualize your home as a shining, safe, guarded, secure place of sanctuary.

Pour the mixture into the jar. Seal tightly and place in your home with the following words:

"Salt and herbs, nine times nine
Guard now this home of mine."

Entity Traps

Use them to catch and 'recharge' prayers or whatnot for purposes you want. You still use a jar and salt, but the rest is kind of different. Here is my version...

Supplies

jar with no lid (do not need)
Blessed salt
Holy water
Glue
Nail polish or marker
Red candle
Red thread
Piece of cloth

Banish and bless all your tools. Take the glue and water it down with the holy water. Pour it into jar and roll it around till evenly coated pour out excess; then, pour your salt into jar and roll around till evenly coated. Take the marker or nail polish and mark the outside of jar with words or symbols or runes for what you are wanting, needing energy for or asking help from, and then take cloth and cut to 1/2 inch larger than opening of jar. Use the marker and draw a spiral on the cloth. At the centre, make a small hole (for the entities to get in)- all along the spiral make pagan symbols like pentacles, moon symbols, etc. Take the cloth and put on top of jar. Tie the thread around top of jar to keep the cloth on jar, then seal thread with wax.

Just sit it out of the way somewhere. You can also use blessed rock salt for the cheap and easy version- no glue or holy water needed!

To protect an Object

With your index finger, trace a pentagram or rune of protection over the object to be protected. Visualize blue light streaming from your fingers to surround the object. Say this as you trace:

" With this pentagram/rune I lay,
protection here both night and day.
And the one who should not touch
let his fingers burn and twitch.
I now invoke the law of three:
This is my will, So Mote It Be!"

A Simple Salt Ring of Protection

Preparations

Mix together 1 part salt to 3 parts water. The salt can be any variety, if you have an affinity to the ocean, use sea salt. Pure spring water is recommended, but tap water will do if that is all you have.

Ritual

Circle the area to be protected splashing the salt-water as you go around. Do this three times. While doing each circle, repeat three times,

"Thrice around and thrice repeat, all evil does this ring defeat."

See the shield come up as you finish the last circle. It is done. This ritual should be done after the area to be protected has been cleansed and purified in some fashion.

Protection Oil Recipe

The New Moon is a time that includes introspection, selection and discarding, banishing and releasing, and setting up protection. This is a good time for closure, and to bring about new beginnings. A good time to brew up a special protection oil. Below is a recipe for creating this protection oil:

Ingredients

Almond oil or olive oil (approximately 1 oz.)
Lavender oil (3 drops)
Eucalyptus oil (2 drops)
Clary sage oil (2 drops)
Ground black pepper (just a pinch), or Black Pepper oil (1 drop)
Glass vial (approximately 1 oz. size) or small jar w/ lid
Small quartz crystal (optional)

Get all your ingredients together before starting, and then go wash your hands with salt and water. I prefer using essential oils when possible because of their more potent energies, (which makes them more effective), but any grade of oil will work. Set up an altar on some natural surface, and place an altar cloth on top of it. On your altar you will need a red candle. Light the candle before starting. As you are blending your oils together visualize harmony, peace, love and safety, and protection from negativity, harm and dis-ease.

Place the small crystal (if you have one) into the glass vial, and then pour some of your base oil (almond or olive) into the vial. Now put the drops of the lavender, eucalyptus and clary sage oils into the vial, and then gently agitate to mix. Pour a little more base oil into the vial, and then add a pinch of the ground black pepper. Gently agitate the vial again. Finally add enough base oil to fill the vial and then gently agitate one more time. Place the cap on the vial and close snuggly.

Once you are done with blending your oil, go and wash your hands with salt and water. Now go to your altar and place your vial of oil in front of the red candle. Now stand in front of your altar and rub your hands together vigorously, until the palms of your hands become hot. As you are doing this feel the soles of your feet vibrate as if the energy from the center of the earth is shooting up into your body, down your arms and out through your palms. You will feel a tingling sensation in your hands by this point. Now pick up your vial of oil and hold it your hands. Feel the energy flow from your hands into the vial. Close your eyes and visualize red-hot light flowing out of your palms and into the oil. As you are doing this say aloud:

"I charge thee with the powers of Earth, Air, Fire and Water,
To cast off all unwanted negativity and evil.
May know one come near who does not come in perfect love and trust.
So Mote It Be!"

When you feel you have placed all of your energy into the oil, set the oil back down on the altar and then shake your hands and arms to release any remaining energy. Go and wash your hands with salt and water again.

Your protection oil is now complete. This oil will be very powerful, and you can use it as needed to anoint candles, doorways, windows, amulets, talismans or anything else that you feel requires protective energy.

Protection Chant

A very simple but effective ritual I use for shielding and protection is simply this. Focus all your will into these words:

"To those who dare to me attack, Shall find your energies bouncing back!"

Chant this as many times you feel you need to.

Shield of Protection Spell

Sometimes no matter how good of a person you are there comes a time when negative forces will try to bring you down. Whether it be gossip, the dreadful evil eye, hexes or just those people that wish the worst on you. Whatever the case may be I have a ritual that you may incorporate as your own. It is the Guardian Angel Spell.

On your altar or sacred space light the protection incense of your choice. Whether it be frank & myrrh, hyssop, gardenia, benzoin etc. On parchment paper or a regular piece of paper write your name 9 times. If you are doing this ritual on someone's behalf write their name 9 times. A white candle should be used. The size of candle is your choice. Anoint your candle with Holy oil all the while visualizing a protective light surrounding you. Imagine that no harm will penetrate this shield of light that is around you. Or you may picture your Guardian Angel or Spirit Guide right there watching over you. It's your vision so do what works for you.

Place the paper underneath the candle then light the candle. I usually use a saucer and a small candle. What I do is that I light the candle first and then let the candle wax drip a little on the paper and a little on the saucer and then I place the candle on the dripped wax so that it holds. Now you say the Guardian Angel Prayer as follows:

"Protecting spirit who watches over me always, you who have this mission, now for the joy of doing good and for progress and purification of your spirit, save me, for during the night my spirit goes to meet the unknown. Take me to where my loved ones and my friends are and those who want to help me. Help me with all the problems of my life. Oh, that the revelations I should put into practice would be held fast in my imagination. Give strength in my contemplation of nature and raise my spirit above the new struggles that have made my hopes vanish. Amen"

Now pray Psalm 7, 22 and 44. Or you may pray just one of the psalms. May this ritual be of great benefit to those who are in need.

Shield of Protection

This is a spell for a minor shielding when a quick one is needed.

Recite the following:

"Heavenly Powers from far above,
Give me a shield of your purest love.
Shield in directions North, South, East, and West,
and now let this shielding be your best."

Draw 3 pentacles in the air.

Room Protection Spell

Kirin Lee, Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day 8/13/02

This is an effective spell to use when you need to protect the room you are occupying. To start, close the door, and with your chosen tool draw a pentacle in the air at the doorway. As you do, visualize purple light flowing from the tool and forming the pentacle. With your hands, draw a curtain of shimmering energy from top to bottom. Repeat this with any other doorway. If you want additional protection, do the windows. You can strengthen this spell by burning a protective incense.

Home Protection Spell

To protect your home while you are away, bake some gingerbread using cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. These ancient spices will fill our home with an inviting aroma which acts as a powerful magnet for benevolent spirits and potent repellent for malicious one. Place a few crumbs of your cake outside each door and freeze the rest to enjoy upon your return.

CAT PROTECTION SPELL

Cast your circle, dress a blue candle with eucalyptus oil, from bottom to top. Say,

"Bast of beauty and grace,
Protectress of the feline race,
Shield ___ from all hurt and harm,
And keep ___ always safe and warm,
Watch over ___ from day to day,
And guide ___ home if they should stray,
And grant ___ much happiness,
With a good life free from stress."

Thank the goddess, close the circle.

To Protect a Cat

The cat in this case was a house cat who had just moved into a new house. He kept running away every time a door or window was opened. Call your cat into the circle and draw a pentagram in Protection Oil on his forehead. Then recite:

"Moon Goddess, I ask that you keep [name] at home
And safe from his mischief, and the desire to roam.
Give him the contentment known to his race
And see that he's happy in this his new place."

To Protect a Dog

The dog I wanted to protect is a beautiful, loving pet. He is also a pit bull and very protective of his family. My fear has always been that he would protect them from intruders or other harm and later be harmed himself because of the fear many people have of the breed.

Call your dog into the circle and draw a pentagram in Protection Oil on his forehead. Then recite:

"Hecate, Dark Mother in protecting this home
In your place as is right stands one of your own
In defending this house And all creatures within
Your sacred beast is your true loyal friend.
Keep him from harm as he guards all he loves
And watch over him so below, as above."

Protection of a Vehicle

Preparations

You will need:

1 clear or yellow glass bottle
1 quartz crystal small enough to fit in the bottle
Cedar chips
Pure spring water
A piece of red cloth made of a natural material
Frankincense or sandalwood incense

Create solar water by putting the crystal in the bottle, filling the bottle with the spring water, and placing it in the vehicle so that the morning sun will shine through it. Remove the bottle at noon. (Store water in cool dark area until the next morning) The next mornings, spread the cedar chips on a non-metallic surface, and sprinkle lightly with the solar water. Place in the morning sun to dry. When dry, place the chips and crystal onto the cloth and tie closed.

Ritual

Use cleansing incense, such as frankincense or sandalwood, freshen the vehicle. Let it completely air out afterward. Then place the bundle in the vehicle. As you place it say,

"Let this charm keep me from harm"

If doing this for another, change the phrase appropriately. It is done.

Workings For Protection Of Spirit

No need for any candle, just a circle of salt in a room that has been cleaned and not entered over night. At the firs rays of dawn stand in the circle (yes naked~chuckles~) and say as you trace with your right forefinger a deosil pentacle on your upper left arm,

"Shield of my Mother be upon this my left arm
And protect me from those and that which would do me harm."

Then clench your right hand into a tight ball and with your left fore finger trace a circle and then a widdershins pentacle saying,

"Sword of my Father be in my right hand
That against mine enemies I might stand"

Then you may step out of the circle and it is done. It is a very simple working and works wonders if you have been under a lot of strain with life or stress. It also will protect not just you but all that you come into contact with for as long as you do of it. I usually do of such once a month so that it stays in place and during that time find it helps to just mentally picture of what I did as well as repeat the words in my head.

Protective spell

Celenta, Wiccan Grove

Gaze into the flame of a purple candle, and say:

"Craft the spell in the fire,
Craft it well, weave it higher.
Weave it now of shining flame,
None shall come to hurt or maim.
None shall pass this fiery wall,
None shall pass, none at all."

Close your eyes and imagine a protective sphere around you. When ready, open your eyes and extinguish the candle.

Full-Moon Protection Ring

Don

For this you will need the following, and everything should be brand new:

1 copper bowl
1 square of red silk
9 taper candles
Bottle of olive oil
1 ring that is pleasing to you and that you can boil in water
Earth from the back yard to put in the copper bowl

Now - On the night of the New Moon set up the copper bowl on the square of red silk. Fill the bowl with earth from the back yard. Place the nine candles around the bowl. Then boil the ring for at least 10 minutes in boiling water, and then take it out and bury it in the earth in the copper bowl. Light the nine candles and place 9 drop of olive oil over the earth in the bowl. Then chant:

"MY SOUL BELONGS TO THE COSMOS
MY SOUL BELONGS TO THE WIND.
I AM THE COSMOS
I AM THE WIND."

Then let the candles burn all the way out and leave everything in place until 2 weeks later on the night of the Full Moon. Then take the ring out of the earth - place it on your finger - then take everything used for this and wrap it up and bury it somewhere where it will be undisturbed and never dig it back up again. It will work in conjunction with the ring for full-protection! And - warned is warned! If you think that you can do any magick that's unjustified and have this ring protect you - Won't happen! If you're not justified in what you are magickally doing - then you will experience what it is like for the conjurer to be conjured!

Protection of valuables Spell

While walking eleven times around the object(s) you want to be protected chant this EACH TIME you go around:

"Safe from harm,
Who breaks the charm
Will fall away and disappear into dust.
As is fair and is just"

PROTECTION SPELL

Before beginning the spell, make sure you won't be disturbed. You will need to set up an altar. Place a protective incense, such as bay, on the altar in the Eastern quarter. Place a red candle in the Southern quarter, a seashell in the Western quarter and a stone in the Northern quarter. You will need to place a red apple in the center of the altar, along with aloe or bloodroot oil charged with protective energy under the full moon.

You should now go and take a ritual shower or bath, using an aura cleansing soap, sage or coconut. While you are doing this visualize all the stress and / or unwanted feelings and emotions you have inside being washed out of you, and going down the drain. Afterwards put on something comfortable and relax.

Go to your altar now and light your incense and candle. Walk clockwise around your altar until you are in the east, and then say aloud:

"Elementals of Air; sylphs-
I call upon you to guard this portal with all your power,
And allow no evil to come near.
So Mote It Be!"

Now walk to the Southern quarter and say:

"Elementals of Fire; salamanders-
I call upon you to guard this portal with all your power,
And allow no evil to come near.
So Mote It Be!"

Now walk to the Western quarter and say:

"Elementals of Water; undines-
I call upon you to guard this portal with all your power,
And allow no evil to come near.
So Mote It Be!"

Now walk to the Northern quarter and say:

"Elementals of Earth; gnomes-
I call upon you to guard this portal with all your power,
And allow no evil to come near.
So Mote It Be!"

Now walk three times around the circle, and while doing this say aloud:

"This circle is cast,
As above so below,
As within so without."

Now stand in the center of your circle and raise your arms up towards the heavens and say:

"I call upon Athena,
The great Goddess of Protection.
Protect myself and all whom I love,
Keep harm away.
Bring with you all of your sacred powers,
And guard me against all harm and negativity.
Blessed Be."

Close your eyes and visualize the Eye of Horus on the roof of your home. Take the oil and dab some onto the tips of the index and middle fingers of your right hand. Now go around your home and draw a five-pointed star with a circle around it onto every door and window, using the oil on your fingertips. As you do this visualize a strong protective barrier being created at each entrance to your home, which will block any negativity from entering. You can also use the oil later to anoint your body, your car, your office at work, etc.

Once you are done anointing your doors and windows, return to your altar. Take your apple and cut it in half sideways. Pick up one of the halves and you will see a five-pointed star inside the apple! This is the symbol of Man, and humankind. Now take your lit candle and drip 3 drops of wax from it onto the center of one of the apple halves. As you do this make a wish for each drop. Once you are done push the two apple halves back together and place it back onto your altar.

Now go to the Northern quarter of your circle and say:

"Powers of Earth,
I thank you for lending your protective energies in this magickal rite.
May there be peace between us now and forever.
Blessed Be."

Now go to the Western quarter of your circle and say:

"Powers of West,
I thank you for lending your protective energies in this magickal rite.
May there be peace between us now and forever.
Blessed Be."

Now go to the Southern quarter of your circle and say:

"Powers of Fire,
I thank you for lending your protective energies in this magickal rite.
May there be peace between us now and forever.
Blessed Be."

Now go to the Eastern quarter of your circle and say:

"Powers of Air,
I thank you for lending your protective energies in this magickal rite.
May there be peace between us now and forever.
Blessed Be."

Now stand in the center of your circle and say:

"Oh Great and Gracious Goddess,
Thank you for your blessings and your strength.
Remain if you will, go if you must.
May there be peace and love between us forever.
Blessed Be."

Now walk counterclockwise around your circle 3 times, and while doing so say:

"The circle was and forever will be.
Merry Meet and Merry Part.
May this circle be open, yet unbroken."

Once you are done, take your apple and bury it outside in the earth. Your rite is now finished, and your spell has been cast!

May the love of the Goddess be forever in your heart!

Shield of Protection

Simple Basil Protection

You will need:

1 orange candle
1 carnation
Basil

Place the carnation in water, and the basil in front of the candle. Breath deeply, and clear your mind. Begin to concentrate on the powers of protection and say in a powerful voice:

" I call in the guardians and the power of the masculine and feminine.
I surround myself with the fire of protection.
The earth's grace supports me.
The winds bring me gentle shifts and the flow of water eases the energy ceases to be.
I believe in this protection and I release my fears, so that I may connect to the pulse of life.
I ask that this be done within the greater good. So be it, and so it is."

Let the candle burn as long as you like. Throw the basil out on the full moon.

Protection - keeping yourself safe from harm

This spell is most effective when done a day after the full moon. Take a piece of silk, some silk thread (if available) in green or pink, some herbs of the following kind (but you don't need all):

Juniper
Mugwort
Rosemary
Basil
Horehound
Trefoil
St. John's Wort
Vervain
Mandrake
An Acorn or a twig of oak or a twig or rowan.

I always feel it is best if the herbs are worked by hand but because of the harmful properties of some of the oils of these plants, if not dried I recommend a mortal and pestle only. Grind the herbs into a rough mixture, they do not need to be too fine.

Prepare you room or space for this protective working. If this is to be personal, the amount of herbs need only be small but preparation more extensive. If this is to protect a house, boat, car, etc. then more herbs are needed and a further ritual but quick and benign looking ritual needs to be performed.

Personal - Prepare your altar. Draw a bath to the temperature you prefer. In this bath, use some purification, exorcism or dragon's blood bath salts.

While you bathe, feel the protection water gives begin to seep into yourself. Then feel the protection earth gives through the salts seep into your very bones. When finished the bath, dry yourself and anoint yourself with some oil containing rosemary, geranium, or frankincense. Light a charcoal briquette and burn as incense some frankincense, myrrh, or dragon's blood. While the smoke curls, create the sachet! Place the herbs in the cloth and sew the sides together as best as you can to prevent the substance leaking.

Now while you sew it together, chant out loud or silently

"I bind this charm to protect me well".

Once done, face each direction and say:

"Element of the empower my charm to protect me against all harm."

Then when you return to the east say

"I have created this charm to protect me against all harm. It's power has been created and now let it's work be done."

Now keep this charm on you at all times!

DragonsBane Protection Oil

Ingredients

a 1 dram glass vial
Sweet Almond Oil - a thick base oil with a gentle scent
1/4 - 1/2 gram of amber resin
2 drops jasmine essential oil
4 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
3 drops frangipani essential oil (precious oil)
1 drop silver birch oil (should smell like smoke *NOT* like spearmint)
a generous pinch or 2 small pieces dragons blood resin

Place the amber in first, then the dragons blood. Add on top of that frangipani and jasmine and give a slight shake. Let sit for 10 min. in the dark or in the moonlight (capped). Carefully uncap after 10 min and add the Ylang Ylang and recap to shake gently. Add sweet almond oil half way to the top and add the silver birch oil. Fill with sweet almond to almost the top, leaving room for some air and shake well. Fill to the top with sweet almond and cap tightly. Store carefully away from light for no more than 3 months - really for no more than 1 if to be used near or on skin.

Test before using. To test, place a small amount of oil on your inner elbow for a night. If you have a reaction, do not use anywhere on your body. Frangipani is a common synthetic - please use only pure resins and essential oils in this recipe. Silver or white birch oil is dark, very thick and smells like smoke. Please be sure you are buying the correct one. If in doubt, ask.

General Protection Spell

This spell covers freedom from the danger of fire, lightning, enchantment, and evil spirits.

"Welcome thou fiery fiend! Do not extend further than thou already hast.

FOR PROTECTION IN THE SNOW

You will need:

One peppercorn
A pinch of salt
Pinch of powdered ginger
Pinch of powdered cloves
A small pinch of red cotton cloth

Place the peppercorn in you bowl saying and visualizing:

"I charge you with protection."

Place the salt in saying:

"I charge you with stability."

Place the cayenne pepper in saying:

"I charge you with warmth."

Place the ginger in saying:

"I charge you with protection"

Place the cloves in saying:

"I charge you with protection."

Mix the assembled spices and salt with your fingers, visualize yourself having a safe health, guarded time. Now transfer the hers to the center of the cloth squares.

Fold in half and in half again and sew up the ends. Carry this with you. Make a new charm ever snowy season.

The Stone Jar

Gather several small stones of various colors. If possible, choose some stones from the beach, some from rivers, some from deserts, and some from mountains. This isn't necessary, of course, so use what you can find.

Obtain an earthenware jar, a crock, or some other clay pot. You'll need enough stones to fill it. Hold one of the stones in your projective hand. Visualize the stone emitting protective energies.

As you visualize, say these or similar words:

"Stone from the mountain,
Stone from the well;
Stone from the desert,
Charge now my spent."

Place the stone into the pot, saying these or similar words:

"Into the pot I place this stone
To guard my hearth, my houses my home."

Repeat the entire procedure with each stone. This will take some time, depending on the size of the jar that you've chosen.

When the jar is full, place it (uncovered) somewhere in your home, while saying:

"Pot of stones,
Guard this place;
Send all ill
Far apace!
Send it back
'Neath the ground;
Bury it;
It is bound!"
