Apples have been around for a long time. They appear in the Bible, the Greeks used them and so did the ancient Romans.

When the earliest settlers came to America they brought Apple seeds and were growing apples by the 1630's.

I'm sure most of you have heard of the story of Johnny Appleseed. His real name was John Chapman and he was from

Massachusetts. He went around several American states and distributed apple seeds to the settlers. He was a traveler so

his clothes were also torn and dirty. It was said that he didn't wear any shoes at all. His appearance and personality left an

impression on people wherever he went.

As you can see by now the apple is rich in history. In magick apples have been used in love spells for centuries. The color

red is the colors of love and lust. The reddest and juiciest apples you can find should be the ones to use in love spells.

In the love spell below you will need the following ingredients.

1. A red, pink or white cloth. It should be large enough to wrap the apple in.

2. Red, pink or white ribbon

3. A knife

4. A red apple

5. Rose petals

Before starting the spell remember to purify the area you are doing the spell in, create your sacred circle and consecrate

all items you will be using. Start the spell by carving two hearts into the apple. This is best done at an angle. You might

have to practice a few times to get it right so having a few apples around would be useful. After the two hearts have been

carved place the apple in the middle of your cloth. Use the rose petals to scatter around the apple. Don't let any excess

hang off the sides of the cloth. Take the edges of the cloth and fold them upwards. Tie the ends with the ribbon making a

pretty red bow. Place the apple outside of your home somewhere during a full moon. Leave it there for several days.. It is

supposed to draw in potential lovers. While performing the entire spell imagine a positive person coming into your life or

you might draw in some unwanted attention from someone you don't like.

If the spell doesn't work for you its possible this simply isn't the right time for love in your life. You can always try doing the

spell again during the next full moon. Try to focus more energy into what you want than you did the first time around. See

yourself experiencing love and not just wanting it. Don't have thoughts about what you want. Actually see what you want

and be in the moment of it while performing the spell.
